Each beautifully ergonomically shaped handle is made from sustainable bamboo . In fact the bamboo these handles are made from can grow as much as 90cm in a single day. Incredible.
The bristles are made from BPA-Free Soft Nylon-6, a synthetic polymer. These are easily removed and can be recycled. There is still not a viable 100% plastic free alternative to using Nylon-6 for the bristles. But the Leaf toothbrush is still 99% plastic free which means it is 100% better than a plastic one.
